Off Limits: MMF Bisexual Romance Page 4
Cory takes a drink of wine. “So far, that hasn’t come true. But they were smart not to let me get away with slacking off in school. If the day ever comes that I get too injured to keep playing, I have other options.”
“You mean you wouldn’t just retire young and leave it at that? Seems to me hockey players make a pretty decent wage these days.” I grin at him. He’s really laid-back. So different from how he’s been described when he’s playing hockey. From the looks of things, he’s pretty aggressive there. Not now. I feel like I can joke around with him already. All of my nerves have calmed down.
“Sure, I could. That’s what a lot of guys do. But that’s not me. I’m not gonna lie around on a beach somewhere and do nothing for the rest of my life. I want to get involved in something else. Relaxation and fun are great, don’t get me wrong. But I couldn’t do something like that year after year. Not until I’m eighty or something. I’d want a second career.”
“Any idea of what you’d want to do?” I’m interested in his answer. I can’t imagine having enough money to retire and be set for life, let alone being young and doing it. From what I’ve read about him, Cory’s already a millionaire several times over.
His eyes sparkle as he smiles at me. My heart thumps against my ribs. His smile just does things to me. He shakes his head. “Not yet. I’ve got a lot of time to figure it out. Maybe I’ll do something in the medical field. Who knows? You seem like you’re pretty into your work.”
“I love what I do. I can’t wait to graduate and really get into it. In a few months I’ll be done and I’ll have a lot more free time. It’s been a bit of a grind. But it’ll be so worth it when I get there.”
I feel like I can tell Cory anything. He’s proving to be so easy to talk to. It’s a nice surprise. I never thought about it until we were on our way here, but then I was hit with the worry that we wouldn’t have anything to talk about at all. He’s rich and famous. That’s a whole different world from mine. But he’s turning out to be just like any other guy I’ve gone out with. Casual and relaxed. Actually, he’s better than most other guys I’ve gone out with. For one thing, he’s not a jerk. And we have lots to talk about.
After careers and our futures, we talk about our families and even get into our childhoods. And although I’m not into sports, the way Cory talks about hockey and how he got into it as a child is fascinating to me. I’m finding myself hanging on all of his stories.
By the time we’re through dessert, I’m feeling amazing. It’s been a great first date. We’ve had a great conversation and he’s leaving me wanting to get to know him even better. Maybe I’ve been getting cynical without knowing it. Maybe that’s why I haven’t been out there dating. I know I don’t have much time, but now I think there was another reason too. I was afraid of meeting another bad guy.
And now here’s Cory, taking away all of my fears.
Even if he and I don’t get together again, I feel like I can get back out there. Not that I want to. Not with anyone but him. I like him. That attraction’s still there. That burning need for him. It’s there in the background, never going away. In fact it’s been smouldering through our entire meal.
He’s acting like he’s really into me. I hope I’m reading that right. I’m not known for picking up on signals from guys sometimes. Actually, given my dating history, most of the time.
I really do hope I’m right this time. I don’t want to be wrong about Cory. He’s incredible.
We’re stepping outside into the evening air when Cory slips his arm around my waist. It feels so good. So right. We walk the entire way back to his car like that. And strangest of all, if feels natural. Like we’ve been going out for a while and we’re already familiar with each other. Even though this is the first time.
When we get back to his car, Cory pulls me to him in a very smooth move. His arms encircle me. His hands run over my back.
“When I saw you for the first time tonight, you looked so beautiful.”
His eyes are even more entrancing up close. I gaze into them, right up until the moment that he leans into me. He brushes his lips against mine and then we’re kissing.
His hands are running all over my body. And I’m barely aware. I’m melting into him. And I’m glad his arms are around me because he’s holding me up too as I’m turning into liquid fire. I shudder as unexpected emotions wash over me.
We break apart just before I have to come up for air. Cory is taking my breath away. I try to catch my breath but he’s making it impossible. He’s dusting my neck with light kisses, so light I can barely feel them. And at the same time, they’re setting me on fire. I’m gripping his arms to hold myself up, keep myself steady.
I want him.
The sound of laughter breaks the spell between us. There’s a group of people walking down the sidewalk, coming close to where we are. I come back to earth. We’re not alone. We’re on the street and it’s busy. It’s easy to ignore the traffic zooming by, but not people on the sidewalk.
Cory brushes a piece of my hair out of my face. “Let’s get going.” He opens the car door for me and I climb in. He and I don’t talk much for the first few minutes. He’s holding my hand and he doesn’t let it go, not for the entire drive back to my place.
He pulls into a space not far from my building. Someone’s just pulling out as we arrive there. Good timing.
Cory turns off the engine, and the sudden silence without any music playing is a bit of a shock. His hand goes to my face. His fingers slide under my chin, tilting my face up to him. Without a word, he gives me another kiss.
It’s even hotter than the last one. My heart pulses. I could kiss this man for hours. And do lots of other things too. And this is the time for it. Now’s my chance. We’re right in front of my place.
“Sarah.” His voice is low. “I don’t want to leave you. Not now. Do you want me to drop you off? Or would you like to come back to my place?”
Chapter 6
Cory
I’m a sucker for Sarah’s sweet smile. Only now, it’s got a sexy edge to it. Yes.
“We’re right here, Cory. Would you like to come up to my place for a drink?”
Irresistible. “Of course.”
The door squeals as I open it up for her. The building is older, and so is her apartment. But it’s well-kept, welcoming and friendly. It’s a perfect reflection of Sarah herself.
Sarah turns the lock behind us. “What would you like?”
I embrace her and she feels so good in my arms. “You.”
I catch her mouth with mine. I intend the kiss to be slow and sensual, but it turns passionate in an instant. Even more so than the kisses we shared earlier tonight. The chemistry between us is sky-high.
I’m ready to get naked and find her bedroom already, but something tells me it’s too soon for that. Instead I let my hands start to roam around.
Sarah sinks into me as I explore her body. My fingertips trace over her back, sliding down to her hips. I pull her tighter against me, so she can feel how much she turns me on.
I break our kiss. She moans softly as I move to her neck, dropping light kisses all over her exposed skin.
“Sarah. You’re so beautiful. I want you.”
She flashes me that sexy smile of hers. Taking hold of my hand, she takes me down a short hallway to her bedroom.
We stop just inside the doorway. I can’t keep my hands off her, even to undress her. We’re kissing as I slide my hands under her dress, pulling it up as far as I can before we have to separate. I tug it off and pull her back against me, the heat of her skin penetrating the fabric of the clothes I still have on.
There’s no way I want to waste time undressing myself, at least not yet. Sarah gasps as I find the hardness of her nipples through the lacy fabric of her bra. I tease them, fondling her breasts as we kiss again. I let one hand slip down her body. She parts her thighs and I stroke her through her panties. Her sexy gasps go straight to my cock as I lightly massage her clit. Her body’s respo
nding to every single touch. I can’t stand it any longer.
Gently I ease my hand from between her legs. In one quick movement, I unclasp her bra. Tossing it aside, I drag her panties down her legs. She grabs at me for balance as she steps out of them.
Her eyes glitter in the low light. “This will be a lot more fun if you’re naked too.”
I couldn’t agree more. I unbutton my shirt and get rid of it. “You want to help me out?”
Her eyebrow lifts. “I can do that.” Her hands go to my belt. As much as I want to be naked with her, the idea of Sarah undressing me is just too hot to resist.
Sarah’s easing my zipper down. My erection springs out as she pushes my pants and underwear out of the way. She doesn’t waste any time curling her fingers around my stiff cock and I push into her hand. Her warm touch is making me throb hard with need.
Arms around her, I walk her over to the bed and pull her onto it with me. Right away we kiss hungrily, as if we want to consume each other.
My hand snakes back between her thighs. This time, there aren’t any panties in the way. My fingers are slick with Sarah’s wet heat as I explore her depths. I massage her clit and her body responds to my touch. In only a moment, her body moves with surges of electricity. She falls over the edge quickly, her orgasm unexpectedly intense. It’s breathtaking to watch, to feel her. To be the cause of her pleasure.
“Sarah. That was so hot.” My iron-hard cock presses against her leg.
“Mmm,” she sighs, gazing into my eyes. “It was.”
I plant a kiss onto her cheek. I don’t want to stop kissing her, but I have to grab for a condom. I cover myself as fast as humanly possible.
Rolling onto my back, I pull Sarah on top of me. She leans in for one more quick kiss and then rises up. I angle my cock up for her and she eases herself down, taking me slow and deep, inch by inch.
With my hands on her hips, I guide her down until she bottoms out. When she rises up, I reach out for her clit. I work her as she moves, her rhythm going from slow to fast in only a few movements. She’s building up already, my fingers working along with my cock to drive her to another deep orgasm.
“Come for me.”
Sarah grins at my words, speeding up even more. I don’t think she could look any more sexy than she does right now, the way her beautiful body moves as she rides my cock.
But I’m wrong. She starts to lose control as her orgasm hits her hard and somehow, she’s even hotter. She clamps down on my cock as she comes and a groan tears out of me.
She only pauses for a few seconds to catch her breath and starts to recover. It doesn’t take long before she’s moving again, sliding up and down my eager cock.
I grip her hips, needing to thrust up into her. She smiles at me as she squeezes me tight and that’s it. I’m done for. I come hard, the aftershocks lasting longer than ever. All because of her.
“That was amazing.” Sarah’s still on top of me. I don’t want her to move. Not yet.
“You’re the one who’s amazing.” Reluctantly I help her off me, and discard the well-used condom. I pull her into my arms and stroke her hair. “And that was only the beginning.”
“Oh yeah?” She runs her hand over my chest and curls up against me. “Is that right?”
“Oh yeah. We’ve got the whole night ahead of us.”
I tilt her chin towards me and catch her lips up in a kiss that doesn’t end for a long time.
Chapter 7
Sarah
The clinic is so busy, there’s not a single spare seat in the waiting room. I hurry between one examination room and the next. It’s well into the afternoon before I can take my first break.
I’m in the small breakroom pouring myself a coffee when Jill comes in to join me.
“Crazy day today, huh.” She starts to refill her own mug once I go over to the fridge to retrieve my lunch. “What’s going on out there?”
“No idea,” I say around a mouthful. I’m eating as fast as I can. There’s not much time. Jill sits down across from me, setting her own lunch down on the table between us.
“It hasn’t been this crazy in months.” She takes a long swallow of her own coffee, and makes a face. “This is awful.” She pushes her mug away as if it’s poisonous. “How can you drink something this vile?”
I add even more sugar to my half-full cup. “I don’t care that much. I need the caffeine. Or else I’ll fall asleep on my feet.”
Jill gazes at me as she takes a bite of her sandwich. “Really. You didn’t get much sleep last night, huh?”
“I didn’t say that.” But I can’t keep a huge grin from spreading across my face. There’s no way she could miss it.
“Oh, you don’t have to say it. I can see it. I can tell. You went out with Cory last night, didn’t you?”
I nod around a mouthful. I’ve been thinking about him non-stop. He texted me this morning and he wants to see me again.
“So, I take it your night with The Core went really, really well?” Jill’s smiling at me as she eats. “You know I want details. Come on, Sarah. Spill it. If I can’t date him myself, I want to live through you.”
I nearly choke on my coffee as I laugh at her. “Jealous of my dating life? You? No way, Jill.”
She shakes her head. “This is different. This is Cory Reynolds. I’ve had a celebrity crush on him for awhile now. Ever since he joined the pros. So come on. Don’t leave me hanging. Besides, you know my imagination is probably going to come up with something even crazier than what actually happened. So you can tell me how the night went, or I can go on and fill in the gaps myself instead.”
“Okay, okay. I’m not giving you all the details. But it was a great night. He’s really nice, and smart. And funny. We talked for ages. It was one of the best first dates I’ve ever been on.” I take another sip of coffee, trying not to taste it too much. “No. The very best ever.”
Jill cocks her eyebrow at me. “You like him.”
I shoot her a quizzical look. “Of course I like him. I wouldn’t have gone out with him otherwise.”
“No, I mean you really like him. I thought you’d be telling me all about the sex. And I want you to. But you’re falling for him, aren’t you?”
“I don’t know what you’re talking about. We went out one time. That’s all.” Even as I turn back to my lunch, I can feel a blush rising to my cheeks.
“But you’re going to see him again. Right?”
“Yes. I want to go out with him again.”
I check the time. I have to get back. Even though technically my break could go on for longer, it’s not one of those days where that’s going to happen.
“Good for you, Sarah. I’m happy for you. I thought you were going to be into some casual thing with him. But you’re falling for him. That’s great.”
“ Is it? We’ve been out one time. It’s way too soon to be falling for a guy I barely know. Even if we did sleep together on the first date.”
“Ha. I knew it. I knew you did. You know what? Yes, it’s soon. But sometimes, you just know. When it’s the right one, I think you know it.”
“Is that how it was with your husband?
“Yes. Pretty much. It took probably two or three dates. But it was right at the beginning. I knew. He was the one for me.”
I collect my empty mug and dishes. “I’m not saying Cory’s the one for me. It’s way too early to know that.”
Jill gets up too, grabbing her empty sandwich wrapper.
“Okay, if you say so. But don’t think you can get out of telling me everything about spending the night with The Core. I want details. When we have more time, I want to know everything.”
I turn to Jill. “Okay.” I give her a grin. “But there’s a lot to tell. Quite a lot to talk about.” I give her a knowing look. She gets my meaning right away.
“I knew it. I knew he’d have a big cock.”
We’re coming out of the breakroom when she says that. Jill’s voice is never quiet. That wouldn’t matte
r normally, since we’re in the back of the clinic. Far away from where any patient could hear anything we say. But instead of a patient overhearing her, someone else has.
It’s Dr. Ash. Chart in hand, he’s coming out of his office. And there’s no way he didn’t hear what Jill said.
His eyebrows fly up. But he doesn’t say anything. Jill walks away without another word and I’m about to head off in the opposite direction when Ash stops me.
“Sarah.” His voice is firm.
“I’m sorry,” I begin.
He gives his head a slight shake. “I’ve been meaning to ask you something.”
“Yes Dr. Ash?” I hope there’s nothing wrong with my paperwork. I’ve gotten a little bit behind on it, I know. I was already planning to stay late tonight to catch up. I’m about to start explaining that to Ash when he continues.
“Sarah, will you go out with me tomorrow night?”
Chapter 8
Ash
I straighten out my tie after a quick glance into the mirror. Today was my day off and I’ve spent all of my time on research. Research into setting up my own clinic. It’s going well. If everything keeps falling into place, I could have something set up by this time next year. Up and running. It’s everything I’ve wanted for so long. The closer it gets, the more exciting it is.
No one knows about my plans, not outside of my family. Soon I’ll be at the stage of picking out a site. I’d like it to be in the same area as where I work now if that’s at all possible. It’s a good neighborhood for attracting the kind of patients I want to be working with.
My mind shifts to tonight. I don’t know what I was thinking, asking Sarah out like I did. I don’t regret it. But it wasn’t exactly the right move to make. I should’ve waited. It’s risky, asking out a colleague. I’ve never done it before. And I never thought I would.
